About the Founder
Kelvin Kou Vang was born on December 25 in Lawrenceville, GA. His family relocated to Appleton, Wisconsin during his youth, where he spent his formative years. Initially an unbeliever, Kelvin's faith journey began with a transformative encounter with Jesus through his youth pastor, Elijah Vang. His spiritual growth deepened under the mentorship of another youth pastor, Daoong Vang.
In 2015, Kelvin sensed a divine call to teach and preach, prompting him to meticulously plan his educational and theological pursuits. Fueled by a profound sense of purpose and commitment, Kelvin graduated early from Appleton West High School and earned a B.A. in Pastoral Ministry from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL.
Kelvin's fervent passion for ministry led him to engage actively in Christian ministries such as Inner City Impact and Pacific Garden Mission in Chicago, Illinois. Presently, Kelvin is affiliated with World Relief, a prominent global Christian organization, and serves at Fox Valley Hmong Baptist Church in Appleton, Wisconsin.

About the Story
In 2020, Kelvin felt a calling from God to utilize a blog platform for spreading the gospel. This vision evolved into what was initially named Yearn Blogs. The primary objective was to address prevalent issues of pride, hypocrisy, and doctrinal deviations within Christianity through the proclamation of the authentic gospel. However, it was during the Asbury Revival that the blog's focus—and Kelvin's own perspective—underwent a transformative shift. Following several profound life experiences that revitalized his faith journey, Gaze the Unseen was formally launched in April 2023.

About the Ministry
We at Gaze the Unseen are a team of believers who are passionate about spreading the hope of Jesus through gospel-centered blogs. Our team is made up of different individuals (from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL) who are committed to living out their faith and sharing it with others. All of whom are either currently serving in ministry positions, or are aspiring pastors, counselors, preachers, speakers, or writers.
We believe that through our hope in Jesus, we can experience the fullness of life that Christ promised.
